Had a great weekend!

It was Shri Buddha Puja weekend. We had 1,200 yogis from all over the world, visiting Malaysia. Words to describe what I felt? Joy, love and lots of vibrations. I was also very tired and busy doing things, going here, there, everywhere. I enjoyed mingling and meeting yogis whom I have not seen for a long time.

Although the seminar started on 26 April, I could not make it due to a follow-up doctor's appointment. Hubby and I car-pooled with L & K. We arrived at about 12.30pm and had lunch at the Rainbow Paradise Hotel. , the puja venue. Every step we go, we will bumped into some familiar faces. So, there were lots of Jai Shri Mataji, how are you, long time no see and so on. It was also very difficult to locate anyone because of the massive turnout.

After lunch, H and I checked-into Copthorne Orchid Hotel, which is about 7-10 minutes walk to the puja venue and rested. Then we went back to Rainbow Paradise for Havan. We were late and sat far from the fire, but nevertheless the vibrations and clearing was superb. The whole atmosphere was serene, with the sea breeze blowing and can hear the waves hitting the beach gently as the 108 names of Shri Mataji was read.
Right after that, some of us foot soaked and enjoyed sunset.

After dinner, it was time for Musical Night - Part 1. Since I was the stage manager, I was busy trying to get all 14 performances going in 3 hours. Because of that duty, I had the chance to be right in front of the stage and watching all the performances and enjoyed every single move and steps and felt the cool vibrations getting stronger and stronger and the mood for each performance is unique.

The Musical Night started off with Wayang Kulit - The Story of Shri Buddha, done by the children. It was a good performance to start with as the innocence of the children made us be in thoughtless awareness, so we could enjoy the rest of the performances.

Next was Dai Dance, a dance performance by the Beijing collective. This dance is usually performed by the Dai minority people in China. It was so graceful and gentle and the vibrations were so strong as you can see the heart of these beautiful Beijinger yogis, so much effort, so much determination. It was beautiful!

Then Indonesia and Japan collective came on stage and sang 2 songs, Little Candles in Indon language and Jago Kundalini Ma. The vibrations were building and joy was mounting.

The aunties from KL then performed a Joget Mak Lodeh, a traditional Malay dance and everyone enjoyed the enthusiasm shown by them. We can all see they had so much of fun!

Hong Kong collective then came on stage and sang a few beautiful bhajans and I could feel the vibrations adding up.

Yoginis from Guangzhou performed an energetic fan dance. It was so superb and one can see the hard work and heart in the dance. Our attention was brought to our Sahasrara by watching them.

Then the Malaysian Yuva Shaktis performed this amazing combination of traditional Bharata Natyam and modern dance, describing the Maitreya, Shri Mahalakshmi, Shri Mahasaraswati and Shri Mahakali powers. The expression of this dance can be felt right on our subtle system. The audiences in the hall were enchanted by the moves and the silence could be felt in the air.

Thai collective came on stage and did a Sholaka in Thai and did a candle dance in their traditional costume. The movements were feminine and gentle.

Taiwan collective was the happiest troupe and all 35 yogis went on stage and sang a song entitled 'We are one family'. Then they did bamboo dance and invited the audience to join them on stage. They were so playful and just loved the way they are so cute and innocent.

Then Vietnam collective did a traditional Vietnam dance about harvest. Loved their costumes and the enthusiasm in the dance.

China Cool Group then came on stage and sang a few bhajans, together with Pandit Subramaniam. The mood of the night was at its peak.

Finally, the KL bhajan group and Yuva Shakti sang the English Qawali and everyone was on their feet, dancing the night away, filled with joy and love and it seems the night was never-ending.

Wow, I wrote so much about the Musical Night and forgive me for my lack of vocabulary. It is difficult to describe such a beautiful night of music and culture. People of all races, came and shown us their best performance, their country's culture, their vibrations, their love and their joy.

Why I wrote so much about the Musical Night because I was there the whole time.

The next day was the day we were all waiting for, Shri Buddha Puja. I was given the blessing to serve prasad to Shri Mataji and the puja was so amazing. The vibrations were indescribable.

After lunch, we had the opportunity to learn bhajan from Pt Subramaniam.

Then at night, it was Musical Night - Part 2. This time it was performances by Pt Maruti Patel on the sitar and vocals by Pt Subramaniam and also Simpleji. I cannot describe the feelings of the night, the best relaxation and stress-relieve. Singapore collective came and sang a few bhajans and everyone was dancing at Ghondali. The vibrations were at max!

The next morning, L did some music meditation and started the day with beautiful vibrations. Then Simpleji taught us some music therapy in Raag Bhairav.

Then after some token of appreciations, we took the stage again and sang the Dikir Sahaj. It was a great finale to end a beautiful weekend. The joy, the sparkling eyes, the glowing faces, the love, the connection with one another, it was the most spiritual and beautiful feeling. The vibrations were tremendous and the atmosphere was amazing. It was sad to say good bye, but the memories will forever be cherished.

Many yogis told me they love Malaysia and want to move here. Yes, we have beautiful weather, rain and shine whole year, beautiful seaside, delicious food, friendly people and language is not a problem.
We are so blessed to be the main host for Shri Buddha Puja. It was truly a great weekend! Thank You Shri Mataji for bringing us all together. We are truly blessed!

Forgive me my English and lack of photos. When I have the time, I will share some photos here!

Matka pot treatment - Night 1

I started the matka pot treatment last night.  Been feeling a lot of left agnya catch lately, so thought that it is high time to do a matka pot treatment.  Here is what we need: 7 limes (I heard in Belgium, they used 7 lemons, so the pot that they used is so big and they have a hard time trying to dispose the pot after the 7 nights).  Cut the top of the limes to expose a bit of the flesh. 7 chillies.  Remove the top of the chillies (I don't know what you call, stem or stalk).  I used small chillies so that they can fit into the matka pot. 1 matka pot (here in Malaysia we used claypot that they cooked claypot rice, glazed inside so that it will not leak) Vibrated water So, you put everything into the pot and vibrate in front of Shri Mataji's photo.  Pray that the matka pot will absorb all the catches and negativities.  Then place it on the left side of the bed.  I put it under the bed but you can also put it on a side table on ...

Information for pregnant Sahaja Yoginis

I have decided to gather all information for pregnant Sahaja Yoginis here.  This is probably not conclusive, so please feel free to add on if you have anymore inputs.  To read more about it, please go to amruta.org.   I guess the experience varies from individual to individual.  But I was very sensitive to vibrations and negativity when I was in my first trimester.  So much so that sometimes I have to do 2-3 times footsoak in a row in order to feel better.  But it gets better in the second trimester. As for havan, I was told that pregnant ladies can attend havan but have to sit far from the fire and don't sit too long.  This was advice by the Vashi doctors.  But my own experience, in which I attended one havan, I didn't feel good after that.  It's just my personal feelings about it as I was ultra-sensitive.  But I read some yoginis wrote that pregnant ladies should not attend havan altogether.  So, it really depends.  I ...

Sahaja Yogis Do's and Don'ts

The other day, while browsing through Amruta.org, I'd found this gem.  Sharing with you all.   Disclaimer:  As I only took out parts of the talk, please do read the entire text to get the full message and understanding or better still, listen or watch the video. Advice by Shri Mataji at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (Question and Answers). Bombay (India), 22 March 1977 1. No smoking and drinking First and foremost things that a Sahaja Yogi cannot smoke or drink. One absolutely one hundred percent sure, because if you drink or smoke you will find after some time you either you’ll lose your vibrations or you’ll start vomiting. You cannot smoke. If you smoke your Vishudhdhi will be caught. If you drink your Nabhi chakra will be caught and whenever you’ll place your hand towards the photograph all the Nabhi chakra will be burning absolutely. So you’ll say, “What is this happening?” And you’ll give up. You sort of, many people have done it without any difficulty. They ...
