Help Mother Earth

When the haze was here, we asked for bandhan for the rain to come. Then floods came because of rain and we asked for bandhan for the rain to stop. Aren't we funny creatures?  We created all these disaster and we asked God to please fix it.   Like haze.  It is preventable?  Of course.  Stop burning forest.   Then someone said, "Look, if you stop burning forest, we won't buy your land.  Because that's the fastest way to clear a forest and we can't wait for you to clear it with excavators."   Then the producers said, "If we don't have clear land, we can't produce toilet papers, kitchen towels and all the pulp products that you need for your everyday use." Then we were like, "OK, burn the forest then." For floods, if there were trees to stop the fast flowing water, if there were soil to absorb the water, if it is not a concrete jungle, maybe floods won't happen.   All these are created by us and no o

How to tell what is natural material?

Before Sahaj, I was not able to tell what material is natural and what is not.  I used to wear clothes that are polyester and doesn't feel a thing. After Sahaj, the artificial material have an effect on my skin.  If I wear polyester material, I tend to sweat more and it makes my skin itch.   There are few types of natural cloth material.  They are cotton, wool, silk, leather, fur, bamboo, hemp and jute.  I don't propagate wearing fur or leather as they killed animals for that.  Let's just talk about the natural sources from trees and fibers.  Then industrialization came and many people opted for synthetic material, saying it's easier, no need to iron, airy, easy to dry, etc.  Example like polyester, nylon and spandex.   True enough, cotton materials get crumple after each wash and you need to iron.  And because it's ability to absorb sweat, it makes one feel that it's hot compared to polyester.  But polyester stinks.  And I literally mean it.  A

Miracle photos or not

Lately, there's this discussion happening on Facebook, all about real or fake miracle photos.  I am so happy that someone finally brought this up.  For a long time, I have been trying to tell people that it's very difficult to capture a miracle photo nowadays, especially with the new digital cameras.  It can create many effects that people might think it is a miracle photo. Back in those days, where film was used for those analog cameras, miracle photos was also rare but when we finally captured one, it feels like a blessing. Anyway, I am not going to share the photos that were discussed on Facebook.  The uncle has taken few photos all around Google, some Sahaj and some non-Sahaj to make comparison. Here's a recap: 1. Lights - These happened from slow shutter speed.  I am not a professional photographer, but I have taken many of these photos, whether at Sahaj events or not.  Try this at home with a digital camera.  Don't shoot the altar.  Try somewhere

Information for pregnant Sahaja Yoginis

I have decided to gather all information for pregnant Sahaja Yoginis here.  This is probably not conclusive, so please feel free to add on if you have anymore inputs.  To read more about it, please go to amruta.org.   I guess the experience varies from individual to individual.  But I was very sensitive to vibrations and negativity when I was in my first trimester.  So much so that sometimes I have to do 2-3 times footsoak in a row in order to feel better.  But it gets better in the second trimester. As for havan, I was told that pregnant ladies can attend havan but have to sit far from the fire and don't sit too long.  This was advice by the Vashi doctors.  But my own experience, in which I attended one havan, I didn't feel good after that.  It's just my personal feelings about it as I was ultra-sensitive.  But I read some yoginis wrote that pregnant ladies should not attend havan altogether.  So, it really depends.  I guess you could always check vibrations to find

Meditate at 4am

Past few days, hubby and I woke up at 4am and did meditation.  It was a trial out to see whether we will be able to last for the rest of the day at work staying awake.   Basically, we put the alarm clock at 3.45am and then get up and brush our teeth and wash our face.  Then we sit for meditation.  After doing pranam, raising kundalini and bandhan, we kept our eyes open and look at Shri Mataji's Lotus Feet.  Few minutes later, automatically our eyes will close and will bring us deep into meditation.   The meditation is not long, just 5-10 minutes, the most.  Then we go back to sleep.  And wake up at 7am to get ready for work. I must say the experience has been very fulfilling.  Although we woke up early, we didn't really feel sleepy throughout the day.  And the vibrations early in the morning is very good and the meditation is very deep.  In fact, we were able to sustain the thoughtless awareness much longer. What I like about this schedule is that I don't h

Dream of travelling again

I was re-reading all my travel posts and love every one of it.  Whether local or overseas travel, it's always good to be on holiday, not stuck in office, doing the routine work but instead enjoy going to places, eating, etc.  I would love to travel to India again with hubby this time.  We haven't gone as a couple yet.   Here are some of the travel posts: - Singapore (29 May-1 June 2015) - Around Kuala Lumpur & Selangor  - Gold Coast Morib Water Theme Park Resort (26-28 Jul 2014) - Beijing, China (16-22 Sept 2013) - Banjaran Hotsprings, Ipoh, Perak (Aug 2012) - Foshan & Guangzhou, China (2-6 Feb 2011) - London, UK, Genoa & Cabella, Italy (27 Aug-6 Sept 2010) -  International Sahaja Yoga Research & Health Centre, India (29 Nov-16 Dec 2009) - India (13-29 Dec 2008) In between I went to more places but didn't write in detail about the places I went or the itinerary.  The above are more detailed.  Like we went to Langkawi for our hone

To develop a witness state

Two Vashi doctors came to Malaysia to attend Shri Kartikeya Puja in Malaysia recently.  On top of the puja, they also gave treatment to us.  Me and husband got Dr Mehra, a very nice and humble doctor.   End of the clearing, he told me that it's very easy to solve my problems, that I don't have a big problem, that I just need to develop a witness state and not feel guilty for things that I can't do or didn't do. As I came out from the room, I felt clearer with a better direction.  The same feeling that I had when I left Vashi hospital in 2009.  In fact, the half hour experience, though short was very valuable.   But the next day I started thinking.  How in the world to develop a witness state and not react?  I had to admit that it's my biggest weakness.  That I react a lot.  In fact, if you read my last post, I reacted to my boss.  I react to my family, friends, husband, colleagues, bosses and basically everything under the sun and moon.  Even if I don&#

9th night of Navaratri - The day the asura was killed

No, not telling any stories of how the asura was killed.  Shri Mataji has spoken about this so many times over so many years. Just want to pour out my feelings and experience on this day.   At work, I report to the same manager for the past 5 years.  It wasn't easy working with her and it took me 1 whole year to finally understand her style.  But till this day, 5 years and more, she still yet to understand her subordinates.  Most of the time she thinks that we slack at our work and that we are lazy, when we give our best to do the work.  But it's not good enough for her. Recently, she has gotten a room though not promoted.  And because of that one room, her ego becomes extra big.  And instead of sitting in the same department as us, her subordinates, she now sits with all the big bosses.  And you know what that means = HUGE EGO. I remembered Shri Mataji said in one speech (though I can't remember which year and what puja it was), that people get ego easily,

Navaratri - late post

Image
I have been missing in action for a month now.  Not busy, just more active on my other blog.  And also a little tired.  And also feeling that it's time to be detached and surrender about so many things.  So timely, especially at this point of time.   Just want to share some nice videos on YouTube for Navaratri.  It's a little late for now, considering it's the 8th day of Navaratri today. This video is Devi Kavach recited by a Sahaja Yogini from Mumbai.  Very clear and precise pronunciation.  This is for 3rd and 4th day of Navaratri This one is Shri Devi Atharva Sheersha also recited by the same yogi.  It would be nicer if there are subtitles that we can recite along.  But very nice if you meditate with this.  This is for 7th day of Navaratri. This video is Devi Kavach for 3rd and 4th day of Navaratri and Devi Suktam for 2nd day of Navaratri.  This was sung by a Sahaja Yogini named Madhu Doshi, who is a music teacher in ISPS. And this vid

We need positive vibes all around

There is this phrase in Islam that says, "Pray before you are prayed upon."  Meaning we should pray often before others pray for us at our funeral or before it's too late.  I feel this is a meaningful phrase. Sorry, I digressed.  Recently there's a lot of happenings in Malaysia.  Rallies, racists, disturbances, economy slowdown, haze, etc.  With all these and the increase in prices, many Malaysians feel the pinch.  Some have become frustrated and angry and venting it out on all.  Be it on the road, at work, at home, you name it. I feel it's so easy for people to get angry, for very little and small things now.  But we need positive vibes.  We need to stop all the negative energy that is spreading all around and all over. People who are angry has succumbed to the negativity.  Even when we read on some Sahaj Facebook group, sometimes the comments sounded very angry and frustrated.   I feel the best is not to react and to witness.  What more now that

The miracles of herbs - Ajwain Leaf

Image
Have you heard of Ajwain Leaf?   A yogi sister gave me a small stalk for me to plant.  She said it's very easy to grow.  Just put it in the ground.  And sure enough, from one small stalk, it has become a big plant. In Tamil, this plant is called 'Karpuravalli'.  It has a nice smell, which I won't say it's pungent but it's not sweet fragrance either.  It's leaves are very good for cough and cold and yesterday, I prepared a concoction using this leaf. Hubby and I have been down with cold and cough.  It started with him with a dry cough and sore throat which was under control with Septilin.  Then a week later, I started with sore throat which went on into a head cold.  Eventually my sinuses were blocked and there was lots of phlegm in my throat.  I had a wet cough. I took some cough mixture with guaifenisin to eliminate the excess mucous but it didn't really help much. Then yesterday, hubby's dry cough came back and he was having

Wow, I said so much in the other post and Shri Mataji said it all in this one speech.  Please listen and fulfill Shri Mataji's desire for Her coming birthday. Jai Shri Mataji!

What have we become?

Disclaimer: What I am going to write is entirely my personal opinion.  Comment function has been disabled as I do not want an active discussion about what I am about to write.  You can read and agree or disagree.  If you don't like what I wrote, feel free to leave.  But if you insist on reading and then have a reaction to it, then please go and clear yourself and balance and most important of all, forgive me for writing and forgive yourself for reading.  Don't catch on your agnya just because you reacted to what I wrote. Sorry for the harsh opening.  It's not like I am going bash anyone.  In fact, I am not even angry.  I am just sharing my opinion on recent happenings that I see and witness and happenings that I reacted and failed to stop myself from reacting. 1. The truth is out there Recently, on Facebook, there was a bandhan requested for all yuvas and realised-born children who have lost their way and path in this Kali Yuga and for them to find their way back

Intuition / Zodiac / Marriage

There are lots to write and not limited to a certain subject.  So, this is going to be a post of all my recent thoughts. Instincts / Intuition / Sixth Sense From young, I have a very strong sixth sense.  I didn't know what it was until I read about it when I was in my teens.  I can't remember much of how my sixth sense worked, but here's one that I can remember: I was 18 or 19 years old.  I was hanging wet clothes to dry on the line in my backyard.  Suddenly I was reminded of a friend, John.  We hardly meet and not very close.  And yet all of a sudden, I thought of him.  And seconds later, a red Proton Satria droved by.  Then I realised, John drives one.  Although that was not John in the car, but to have a sixth sense that something going to happen, weird in all ways, but true. Many times my sixth sense worked in a strange way, not always bad, not always good but not extreme like some others.  There are also many times I have a dejavu.  Like for example, I saw

Believe that you are connected

When we got married, we were told that our kundalinis were tied together, for 7 lifetimes.  In fact, I actually felt our kundalinis got tied together.  There was a rush of vibrations, coming from my kundalini and encircling my body, covering all the chakras from Mooladhara to Sahasrara.  This was when he tied the mangalsutra on me. After marriage, there were hints that our kundalini were tied.  But since it can't be seen with our naked eyes, I often forgot about this. One time, right after our Sahaj wedding in Cabella, we were back at his house in Foshan.  As the house was still being renovated for our China wedding, tools were all over the place, wall half painted, paints were everywhere and everywhere was covered with dust.  His room, where the altar was kept can't be use as it is all covered with plastic for the paint job.  And the best part was there was no electricity as some of the lights were not fixed yet. It was about midnight when we arrived at his house.

Shri Mataji, please undo the evil that men have done

Found this prayer on Facebook and thought it's really beautiful and forgiving.  Here, it's customize for Malaysia. Shri Mataji, please forgive all wrong things that my country men have done in this country. Shri Mataji, please forgive all the Sahaja Yogis for their ignorance, aggression and lack of compassion and forgiveness. Shri Mataji, please forgive all the Sahaja Yogis who have done wrong. Shri Mataji, please forgive all wrongdoings done by my ancestors. Shri Mataji, please undo all evil that men have done. Lastly, Shri Mataji, please forgive me for all mistakes committed knowingly or unknowingly. And saw this from WhatsApp group : There are four yugas widely accepted in Hinduism.  They are: 1. Satya yug 2. Treta yug (Ramayana) 3. Dwapara yug (Mahabharata) 4. Kali yug (Present) In Satya yug, the fight was between two worlds.  (Devalok and Asura lok)  Asura lok being the evil was a different WORLD . In Treta yug, the fight was between Rama and Rava

How to make little Shri Ganesha with Air-dry clay

Image
I would like to dedicate this post to one of the Sahaj sister, Seetha, for sharing the knowledge of making little Shri Ganesha.  So, I am sharing this lovely information with all of you.  Hopefully the little Shri Ganesha will bring you joy and love and lots of vibrations. Before we begin, just letting you know that if you want to buy air-dry clay and polymer clay in Malaysia , you can get them from Malaysia Clay Art .  They also have tools and accessories and best part is free tutorials for newbies like me.  Their products are cheaper than the outside stores and I love how it came in small packets with 24 colours in one box (I bought Air-dry clay Set E at RM55). Take a look. Love the colours!  Their service is also very quick.  After you have made the payment, you will get your product in 2 working days (provided they have stock).  They will also send an email to you to update you on your order.  And when they have delivered, another email will be sent to inform you.
