India trip 2008 and Happy New Year 2009

--> Just got back from India . Been having a lot of fun and adventures, beautiful vibes, people, everything. Gonna share everything here, the photos and the stories. 13 December 2008 (Saturday) A group of us left today. Mala and her children, Rohan and Lakshmi, Jaso and Khailaesh, Lat and myself. Since we arrived late at night, we decided to just stay in YWCA, Mumbai for the night before our next stop. Warm night, 28C. A bit of culture shock, the Indian driving style, the non-stop honking. Blow horn when too slow, too fast, too near, too far, anything or nothing, just blow horn. And the Indian driving style is really something, even the mini bus drivers in Malaysia cannot compete. --> Room in YWCA 14 December 2008 (Sunday) Since we are only leaving Mumbai for Brahmapuri at noon, we decided to walk around Mumbai town. We found out that YWCA is just 5 minutes walk to The Taj Hotel (which was attacked by terrorist on 26 November 2008). ...

Bandhan please....

Dear all, Please give bandhan and put your attention for the peace and stability in Mumbai. I will be leaving in 2 weeks time and hopefully by then things will be back to normal. On another note, here's some Shri Mataji's advice : You must pray to God and ask what you want. Ask for: "Complete satisfaction in my heart, Joy in my heart, Bliss in my heart; so that the whole world becomes blissful." "Give me Love, Love, that I could love the whole world and that the whole world becomes one in Love." "Give salvation to the entire humanity, which is suffering." "Take me to Your Feet." "Cleanse me with Thy Love". Now see if there's God or not. You can feel it. Within yourself He hears you. He is the Glory of all the Glory. He loves you, He protects you, He guides you. He has created you to be really His Love. But accept it.Any time any thought is coming to you - pray; and you will be moving in the way of the Ocea...

The Best Day Of My Life

Someone email this to me. I thought it is very Sahaj so am sharing this on my blog. "Today, when I awoke, I suddenly realized that this is the best day of my life, ever! There were times when I wondered if I would make it to today; but I did! And because I did I'm going to celebrate! Today, I'm going to celebrate what an unbelievable life I have had so far: the accomplishments, the many blessings, and, yes, even the hardships because they have served to make me stronger.I will go through this day with my head held high, and a happy heart. I will marvel at God's seemingly simple gifts: the morning dew, the sun, the clouds, the trees, the flowers, the birds. Today, none of these miraculous creations will escape my notice.Today, I will share my excitement for life with other people. I'll make someone smile. I'll go out of my way to perform an unexpected act of kindness for someone I don't even know. Today, I'll give a sincere compliment to someone who seems...

India ...here I come!!!

Good news. In December I will be going to India with some yogis and we will be going on a tour. From Mumbai to Brahmapuri to Mahabaleshwar, then to Vashi for some outpatient treatment, tour with Uncle Richard and then to Pune for Chrismas Puja. My leave has been approved, so now just waiting for time to pass. Also, will be sitting for exam in early December before my flight, so have to study really hard now. Last paper.

Happy Diwali!!!

What an eventful weekend it has been. Yesterday was Deepavali (Diwali in Tamil) and it was a public holiday for us in Malaysia. On Saturday, a cobra came into Lat’s house. I was there and was terrified. Jump on the couch and crouched there to watch the cobra as it has slithered through the gap under the door and rested underneath the shoe rack. We were wondering what to do with it, then checked vibrations and it was cool to remove it. So, Lat called the firemen. They came and took the cobra in just 5 minutes. I asked one of them what will they do with it, killed it? He said they will release it in the jungle. So, here are the photos. A few of them, one is before it was caught, when it was caught and after it was caught. Then on Sunday, I went for a seafood lunch at Kuala Selangor with my family. On the way, took some photos of a cow and some monkeys and a stray puppy, very cute. The drive is just so beautiful. Then in the evening, went to Jaso’s house for Diwali dinner...

Kindness

I believe that if everyone is kind to everyone, then kindness will follow everywhere, and it can be spread. But if unkindness prevails, that unkindness will spread, just like any negativity. I feel that I have become more unkind, to myself, to my loved ones, to friends and families. I guess I can identify when I start to become like that but I guess I better not to blame anyone at this moment. I take full responsibility for becoming unkind. No one has force me. Just that the unkindness has spread and I have succumbed to it. I realised how dangerous the spreading of unkindness is, how love can sometimes be mistaken as harm, how helping another person can be viewed as hurting. It takes away the joy, the love in our heart. Heart becomes hard and softness disappears. I have to remember that I am a Sahaji and Sahaja Yoga is kind, and all Sahaja Yogis are kind, and love is always there, that Shri Mataji loves us all. Be nice to everyone. Photo showing rainbow outside my office.

Beautiful dream

Couple of weeks back, I dreamt of Shri Mataji. All the Sahaja Yogis were at the National Seminar and we were getting ready to take our group photo. Someone took my hand and told me to stand in front of the terrace. As we were already in position, Shri Mataji arrived. She came to me and She held both of my hands and She said, "I wish you all the best in everything you do." Wow, felt so good when I woke up. Can still remember those words, as if She really has spoken to me face to face.

Sisters

Since I am going to be quite busy for the next few days, decided to post twice today. In Sahaj we have so many brothers and sisters. I am closer to the sisters in the Sahaj Music group. Lat is the cuplrit of name giving. There's Malses Kapalses, Kimmi Changgah, Whiny, Datin / Angamuthu, Pundumami and mine is Bindu / Samosa. According to Lat, my Indian name is Samosa and my Sahaj name is Bindu. Lat's ability to give names doesn't stop with her Sahaj music students, it goes on to whoever she is close to. Remember I was talking about passion? Interestingly one day during a session of meditation, an idea came to me. It's about writing a book about all the sisters I mentioned above. Well, I am not a writer and my English is not perfect. So, I am not so sure about this. Anyway, my sisters are all from different backgrounds. There's a doctor, a lawyer, 2 teachers, a mechanical engineer and an auditor. Some are married, some are not. Some has children, som...

Busy weekend

Had a busy weekend. I went to Lat's place and we did headrub. Then we cook some food and offer for prasad. I bought this mini plant to offer to Shri Mataji on my birthday. It is growing beatifully. Thought wanna show in my blog. My sister made me a cake. Well, rightfully speaking, she decorated a cake for me. She told me that it was going to be a surprise and I won't be able to guess what it is. True enough I was so surprise to see. She made me the soft toy that we both shared when we were little. We named the toy Ow Ow. We loved it so much and my mom said she is still keeping it somewhere. Brings back a lot of sweet memories. Then we went for Shri Ganesha Puja. The decorations were very elaborate and beautiful. Puja has very good vibrations and everything was just so wonderful.

Flowers

I love flowers. My favourite is tulips, which of course you can't find it growing in Malaysia. I love the smell of lavender, again you cannot find it in Malaysia. The last time I went to Cabella, I bought some lavender seeds which was from Shri Mataji's garden. I still have them and they still smell lovely. Sometimes I make little cross-stitch sachets and put these lavender seeds in them and give to family and friends. They make lovely gifts. Today is Shri Ganesha Chartuthi, and I bought some roses for the altar. Today is also my parents' 30th wedding anniversary. I have pasted Shri Mataji's speech on Shri Ganesha's birthday below. Not too sure when exactly She spoke, but just thought of the relevance here. Sometimes little miracles that happened is just amazing. Just a few days ago, a lily plant flowers. So beautiful and vibrant. I wasn't even aware that we have a lily plant, until it flowers. Then we found out that the plant has actuall...
