Places that I would like to visit

So far, I have visited quite a number of countries, not business trips, but as a tourist.  I love touring, watching sceneries, learning about the new culture of another country.  It's fun!  These are the countries I have visited thus far: 1. 1994 - Beijing, CHINA.  I was there for 3-4 weeks (can't remember now).  We had a relative who lived there, so accommodation was free.  We went to Summer Palace, Forbidden City, Great Wall of China and so many more places.   2. 1999 - HONG KONG, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, CHINA.  My mom and I and a few relatives took a tour.  It was like a rush hour tour, where everything happened so fast.  Just go to the tourist attraction, snap a photo and you are out of there.  Like that.  This was also the time that we went back to our ancestral land and visited some China relatives.   3. 2000 - Melbourne, Sydney, AUSTRALIA.  I was there for a month and stayed at a relative's house, so ...

Indian things....I like

In my wardrobe, I have more salwar kameez or punjabi suits and saris than my work clothes, dresses and pyjamas. I was introduced to Indian things after Sahaja Yoga. Why do I love them so much? 1. Punjabi suits are very comfortable and suitable for all occasions. They are not tight like jeans and you don't have to look for which blouse to match the bottom because it's already a set. 2. I prefer sari to cheongsam because you can't sit on the ground, cross-legged in a cheongsam. Cheongsam are usually tight and had slits on both sides. Sari is not an easy garment to wear but I wore it more than my cheongsams. 3. Indian house coats are the most comfortable piece of clothing that I have ever worn. It's 100% cotton. Although it is long and the colour usually runs when washed, it is still my preferred clothing over my pyjamas. 4. I have never enjoyed wearing bracelets or rings since young. But when I was introduced to Indian bangles and anklets and costume j...

Happy Holi!

The festival of colours.   Wikipedia explained it well.  I have never participated in it, but would love to one day.   Image: smarnad / FreeDigitalPhotos.net Going through some rough patch.  Life is colourful right, we just need to move forward.  Stay on track and things will be good.  Need a lot of courage and support. Here's some positive notes: 1. I will try to post more photos on my blog to make it more colourful. 2. I have just changed a new template because this template allowed posts to be shared on FB.  Let's see whether it is good.  That's just one pro.  The cons are the links disappeared, the tags disappeared and Link Within disappeared.  Even the stats disappeared. 3. I will learn to blog more positive things, more about Sahaj, more about vibes and joy. 4. I am thinking to move my blog from Blogger to Wordpress platform but in the process, I might lose all my photos.  Wondering whether t...

Things that our attention can do

Yesterday night, I was not feeling too well. In that instance, I desire to eat some comfort food, i.e Tau Fu Fah. Tau Fu Fah is soft beancurd and eaten as dessert with syrup. I haven't eaten that for a very long time as my colleague told me soya increases estrogen. Somehow, very mildly I desire to eat that and didn't think much of it after that and went to bed. This morning, I saw on the dining table, a packet of Tau Fu Fah, bought by my mom for my breakfast. She had not bought Tau Fu Fah for a very long time too. It was just so strange and yet so miraculous. I don't think it was coincidence. So best if we can keep our attention for better things. It has been proven that our attention can work things out. It's a power bestow by our Divine Mother! Jai Shri Mataji!

The simple things can be joyful

My husband gave me a gift when I was in China recently.  It was an external hard disk.  It was black and thick and simply not beautiful.  But the contents were priceless.  It has a collection of audio and video of Shri Mataji's talks from 1970s to 2000s.  This is like the best gift ever, because here's why.   My husband is not fluent in English and all these talks are in English with no Chinese subtitles.  For many nights, he loaded the hard disk with all the contents and he knew he won't be the one using the hard disk.  It was very thoughtful of him.   Recently, I found a very good website with full transcripts of Shri Mataji's talks, interviews, puja, etc.  This is the website, www.amruta.org .  I have been enjoying reading them when I have free time at work and it surely enlightens my day. So, what I will do for him is, I will translate some of the transcripts into Chinese for him to read.  Not that I am ...

Faith

In small, small things we destroy our security … The complete security within yourself is that you are the Self and these things and these things are not important. If you are a secured man, your children will also find that out, that their security lies in finding their own security. They themselves will say, “Now don’t try to help us, to spoil us. Do not give us things by which we feel more insecure.” And such children will be really brave children like Shivaji was. His mother gave him all the protection, no doubt, but she made a Shivaji out of him…Feel your own security and then the joy of that security will take you to your depth. Why are you insecure in life? Money? The person who has got, who has got now the blessings of the Divine, what more does he want? Because your God is Almighty, nobody’s might is greater than that of your Father. Nobody can touch you on any point. But your faith is lacking and that’s why you should start wi...

I did Magic

On the flight back from Guangzhou to Kuala Lumpur in the wee hours in the morning (1.15am-5.20am), it was a tiring flight.  Since that time is a sleeping time, I went to sleep the moment I sat down at my seat.   However at 3am in the morning, the children who were sitting behind me were kicking my seat continuously and talking very loudly.  They were between the ages 5-10 years.  So, nevertheless, they woke me and my neighbour up. I did many times hush to them but don't think they heard me over their loud voices and don't think they understood either.  Their parents were happily sitting behind them and leaving these kids running around on their own.  I was holding on to my irritation because I knew I was going to give them a piece of my mind because I was very tired and sleepy. Somehow, I calmed down and remembered that sometimes things work out when I put my attention on the Sahasrara.  And I just did that.  And in my heart, I wish s...
