Sahaja Yoga Malaysia 13th National Seminar (25-27 June 2010)

I just came back and was exhausted.  Nap for a couple of hours. Although I was really tired out this time, the seminar was indeed very rewarding, in terms of vibrations, knowledge and mainly discover so much about myself. I wish I could share some photos but my camera died on the 2nd day. 25 June 2010 - Friday afternoon The day started with registering of participants and the YS were in-charge of welcoming the participants.  The welcoming committee sprinkled vibrated water, put kumkum on the partcipants's forehead and dab perfume on the participant's wrists.  It was a great way to make all the yogis feel welcome, especially the foreign yogis. Then the seminar began with a welcoming speech and then ice-breaker games. The ice-breaker games was very simple and fun.  We form a group of 10 and after introducing ourselves we have to act out something and the others have to guess.  Next we had an introspective session.  Vikas has very nice...

Busy..busy...busy

It has been really busy and will be busy for the next few days as the National Seminar is just around the corner.  There's so much to do.  Qawwali practice, dance practice, Sahaj music practice, preparing for Yuva Tracks, reporter duties and welcoming duties.  Most likely I will be disappearing for the next few days.  So, here's something for everyone until I come back after the seminar in which I will have some stories to share. "Anybody who is intelligent enough can read about the chakras and give lectures. But it is compassion and knowledge, hand in hand that make a Sahaja Yogi.. The combination of these two actually emits vibrations." Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi , c 1981, England from Divine Cool Breeze, March-April 2004

The road of life

Our destiny. I believe that our horoscope is set when we were born.  Based on our horoscope, it reads our character, our future and what lies ahead of us.  No one is interested to know about past lives but more of what the future holds. I am a Leo Goat.   I believe that the road of our life was determined the moment we were born.  That our destiny was already writen in the stars.  Whether good life or bad, whether rich or poor, whether happy or sad, it can be read from one's horoscope.   I have imagined that God wrote each person's destiny in a special book that dictates his or her life.  Maybe because I was watching too many Canto dramas where it shows that there is a book called The Book of Life and Death, where each person's life is written there, which family he is born, where he will grow up, how his life will be and when he will die.  This Book is only available in Heaven, kept by one of the deities, according to the...

Appreciate

I feel I ask the Divine a lot.  I always ask Shri Mataji for help, ask Her for guidance, ask Her to make life smoother, goes to Her when I am sad and ask Her to take away the pain, ask Her to help solve some problems, ask Her for blessings, ask Her for protection and the list goes on. Many times we forget what Shri Mataji said in Her speech and we didn't do something that She told us to do or we did something that She told us not to do.  Many times we do not remember that She is everything. Shri Mataji's compassion and love is so great.  No matter how imperfect we are as human beings, no matter how much mistakes we made, Shri Mataji still holds us close to Her and keep us in Her body. To deal with human beings is the hardest thing to do and yet She took up the challenge because Her heart is so large that it is only filled with the nectar of Her love. As a Mother, She only wants the best for us and She had given us the best, our Self-Realisation. Saying Than...

The little miracles in our life

So many times we have this teensy weensy bit of miracle that happened in our life, so tiny they are until we just brush it aside as, 'Oh, it's just a coincidence' or 'I am just lucky'.  Sometimes we forgot that it's the Divine power, the Paramchaitanya,  it's our beloved Mother, who sent these guardian angels to light our way.  Today it's a day full of tiny miracles. I had taken half day leave to settle the car accident issues. I left the office and came back to the house to pick up my mom in my dad's car since my car is not in a good condition.  Since I can only collect the police report at 2pm, we went to have lunch. We reached Section 8 area and found that there was no parking.  I was surprise that the place is so full because I was there on Saturday to make the police report and it was so empty.  Now thinking back, it was really a miracle that it was so clear on Saturday, and I could park my dented car so near to the police station and have n...

Wedding. Death. Birth. Accident

That was my Saturday.  A very eventful day. Wedding My cousin sister got married and had the Chinese tea ceremony in the morning.  I just went to see how the bride's maids were playing the groom and his brothers.  Interesting, a bit different from other weddings that I went.  They had a game in which one of the groom's brothers have to put one of his leg into a bucketful of ice to search for the key to open the grills of the main entrance.  Then the sisters played a video showing a group of ballet dancers doing their bit and the groom and his brothers have to imitate them.  The girls even put the 'tutu'?? on them.  So funny. Death Before I went for the tea ceremony, I received a SMS from a Sahaja Yogi sister that one of the Sahaja Yogis had passed away.  Although I was not very close to him, I felt a tinge of sadness in my heart.  This year is a challenging year for all of us, Sahaja Yogis from Malaysia.  From this, I learn to ap...
